Did you watch the auction - she stated at the start of each Banksy lot, that this item is subject to additional US import costs.
Just saying.... don't shoot the messenger!

Are you sure these are correct? The last 3 Strawberry auctions hammered £60,000 and the final price with fees was £80,400, not £75,600.
As a general note, I think people were expecting another price rush, but they have basically held their value for another month. Good result to confirm their true value IMO.

Heh. I still don’t understand why someone would buy this at auction for over £30k when you could still buy from source for £15k?
Obviously buying at that higher price has the effect of pushing the market up (including price at source that we’ve just seen). So maybe it’s someone who is a collector with a fair number of HMs and therefore benefits by increasing the value of the rest of their collection by “overpaying” for one at auction?

Better still, just put your own print to auction and buy it back, then it's only cost you buyers fees.

Barcode is down on where you'd expect, but the others are in alignment with their last auctions. What do people expect on here, prices to surge 10% every other week?

Who knows. Although that would suggest they were out on a toilet break when the Rebecca Warren sculptures were on?

I’m a bit confused. Didn’t two of the prints sell for record prices and the other two their second ever highest prices? I haven’t followed the Banksy market for long but aren’t these good results? Were people expecting even bigger prices?

With Banksy outstripping Bitcoin yes, I think some do. But man alive,£70k plus for a barcode. Unimaginable a year or so ago.
