Let's be honest, they are a special kind of ugly...

I don’t think they are that bad looking in comparison to some of the bigger hitters out there. The project was and still is a joke as are most of the projects that push invites for Whitelist ( even more so when you are on the WL and can mint more than one NFT). I didn’t buy into this one but can see it tanking further into the 0.7-0.8 ETH region which might attract more attention for it.

yes would agree with that, had to leave discord early, it was
massively over subscribed but main focus from team was pushing everyone for WL/ marketing.

think it will definitely pick up interest at 0.5 but then what.. where does it go, they will only know how utilise the community they’ve built by marketing more… A lil’lame

I also think that at this point roadmaps are really not as important as people hype them up to be.
It’s only really worth anything if there are more free airdrops, physical artworks or the chance to be able to get priority on new projects, even then the free airdrops are usually lazy, and the new projects could be something that’s not that interesting.
I will add though that while the Metaverse means pretty much nothing to a project at the moment, in a few years time when it’s been established what virtual world will be utilised as standard then it will be the absolute reason for NFTs. Yes we are early with these and as someone just mentioned it does all work like a pyramid scheme that keeps resetting ( as does most Crytos), but if anyone can’t see the future of the metaverse I’d say that they are likely at least middle aged, own a house and live fairly comfortably.

Now that NFTs are maturing (really just about a year in if looking at 'nft projects' as they exist today) the one lesson learned is most projects really have nowhere to go. You create value off hype before release, you retain value the first few months based off cool promises down the line that really aren't that cool anyway and most not accomplished.

I'm not really sure why stale projects a year in still make decent sales. I assume in most cases it's just enough 'future plans' hype to keep the fomo up, but for most projects, it's just going to be a slow drop to some boring middle area with little fluctuation in price.

What I find funny is that NFT’s (digital art-world in general) are the polar opposite of the physical art-world. The physical art world (whether it be a painting or print) heavily discourages reselling, going as far as to make people sign contacts that they can’t do it!
The digital art world promotes “flipping” as this amazing thing!!!

Anyone see a problem here?
