- What separates/buffers the print from the touching the perspex directly?
- Does anyone have any detailed photographs of theirs? (the more different examples the better). I'd like to show examples to my framer.

Great example with acrylic background and foam board. Print and perspex don't touch; print is fixed using Japanese Paper tape to background while perspex is fixed to the frame.

When you say perspex frames, I'm presuming you mean perspex instead of glass?!
It's always a good idea to not have the glass/ perspex directly on the image. There's no room for moisture evaporation, which in extreme cases can cause sticking. Also the pressure can cause small compression waves, especially if the paper was previously rolled.
Always mount!!
Instead of plain perspex ask for 'Art Shield UV' high quality with none of the old perspex issues & with an anti fade coating.
I go to Gleesons in Raynes Park, pricey but good.

Ive seen Difaced tenners displayed in perspex boxes before.
I dont have a Difaced but something very similar.
Any links to pics of others or places where i can buy these would be appreciated.
My framer said he didnt have anything like that. 
Also, i have a cigar that i want to frame, maybe in the same way, any ideas??

I recently bought a Dolk Bomb Suit canvas and I'm looking at getting a Perspex box for it to help protect it.
In after one with UV protection and it has to be non reflective. The canvas is 100cm x 100cm so I know this wont be cheap!
I'm after a bit if advice about what's best. I've hear that plexi glass can be good as its lighter and I've also heard about acrylic. Does anyone know the pros and cons of both and does anyone know a rough ball park figure for what this might cost??

This would prob be a film over it which may affect the image. Glass gets more non reflective the more impurities are removed, although some use a film.

Talk about non reflective I went to the Piccaso exhibition is Sydney, you had to get right close up to see that every piece was behind glass, must be well expensive.
Like lots of guys on here I have said I wouldn't frame a canvas (maybe if I win lottery and buy some expensive piece) but the other day my 22month old daughter was on the couch and threw a thick felt pen which narrowly missed my Grafter Eskimo canvas, was thinking of a box for it or just move it to a safer place!! Suppose there is no safe place from little ones..

I know Munch used to put his canvases out over the winter and they didn't take that much damage. It should be fine without glass in front of it.
Use the extra money to buy a new print instead.
