Perspex box frames are the way forward, don't think Ant will mind me mentioning his Matt Small fridge door that I recently framed - Absolutely stunning!
I am based in Norwich and frame for several galleries in London including Leonard St. No London overheads, so no London prices! But a weekly delivery service!

however i would be interested in your prices as i intend to have other pieces in perspex boxes.
so what would the price be for a print sized 114cm x 76cm
and also what sort of delivery charge do you have for kent deliveries
and also what is your turnaround time?

Perspex box frame complete with backing board, fixings etc, based on 114cmx76cm works out around ยฃ134.00. I Don't like to send boxes via courier so would be delivered by hand for about ยฃ30 if not too fussed about time/date etc. Or delivery to London for ยฃ10.00!
Conservation framing for a 70x70cm frame would be around ยฃ120 using standard uv protective glass. Museum uv protective glass which you struggle to actually see is perfect for your pride and joy - but would add another ยฃ100 to the cost.
All of our materials used are conservation standard, with turnaround times usually within 10 days!
My perspex box frame site will be up soon, but in the meantime feel free to browse www.photographyframing.co.uk which is my site aimed at professional photographers but shows some boxes and other framing options.
I will post some images of my collection this evening - providing I can work out how to!

Yeah I chose this style due to its size, the only other way I would have gone would to have had a narrow white box frame. But as I have enough pieces done in white box frames I thought I would try something different

I some times wonder if it would be cheaper for me just to open a framing company, as then i could go, oi minion, frame this in a perspex and a white frame and see which i prefer
