Really strong lineup this year, Susumu & Reggie Burrows Hodges being the standouts for me and would each be worth the price individually, let alone as per of a portfolio of 6!
Any ideas which other artists might be in the WC portfolio? Leila Babirye, Richard Bosman, Sara Cwynar, Reggie Burrows Hodges, Susumu Kamijo and Florian Krewer Really strong lineup this year, Susumu & Reggie Burrows Hodges being the standouts for me and would each be worth the price individually, let alone as per of a portfolio of 6! |

That's very affordable for great art and supports a very good alternative art space.
The stand out piece will obviously be the Reggie Burrows Hodges, however I find the Susumu Kamijo image strong and Florian Krewer is definitely and artist to watch

Iโm also a fan of the Susumu print but can see how someone whoโs not on board with his new direction would take issue, particularly as this is one of the more monochromatic images.
Looking forward to the Aliso edition too but guarantee itโll be steep AF.

I thought the pricing was more than fair based on its size and image! Though I do wish they had Susumu add some hand embellishments, and an overall lower Ed size.
And I actually think his secondary market is very strong, especially since itโs so hard to find things at primary if you donโt know the right people in your network. Iโm sure weโll see more auction records broken in the next two years.
Aliso couldโve easily charged more for this edition and still have it sell out.

Really looking forward to get these prints in May-June.
