I have my masks coming from Case and a small canvas coming from Stems. I’m happy to do this on my own accord. I’m enjoying the fact that so many people are butt-hurt over my post. The hypocrisy is mind blowing.

I’ll emphasize again, anyone taking issue with my stance on this is a total fuck weasel and deserves to be doxxed. Everyone’s a smart-ass 300 pound power lifter behind a keyboard until they’re called out in the real world. (Not saying this about you State fyi, just generally).

I’ve lurked long enough, to know that a ton of members have bitched about flippers when it’s convenient for them. Yet when someone comes out of the woodwork to hold people accountable, they turn into little scared pups who bark. Life’s a bitch huh?

Now State, just to share my two cents on what you said, editions give
collectors an opportunity to own a work by an artist they love, when an original is not an option. Flippers prevent these works from getting into the hands of collectors who genuinely want to own and appreciate them. The print is already expensive, but we both know that flippers will attempt to scrap away with anything considering a profit. No matter how small. You’re telling me this print deserves to be in the hands of someone who’s banking on a 1.2k profit rather than a real collector. 🤣

What’s wrong with expecting a profit? The only mentality stupider than wanting to make a profit is to take the approach of dropping 5/10/25/500/100k+ on a work of art to be like: “If I lose money on this and the value never goes up, GREAT. I love paying scalable large sums on things that only depreciate”. That’s way worse than buying something you know is going to go up in profit.
