New LUCAS BEAUFORT print through Stupid Krap, by New Wave Dave on Feb 22, 2022 1:18:43 GMT 1,
From Stupid Krap email blast:
INTRODUCING LUCAS BEAUFORT Lucas Beaufort is French visionary artist living in a world surrounded by imaginary characters, kind but mischievous monsters, who help him build a positive image of the world and guide his everyday choices.
Blending elements of abstraction and figuration, Beaufort’s artworks feature tightly knit arrangements of interweaving, boldly-coloured shapes, merging abstract patterns with more recognisable forms that resemble human figures, animals and flowers.
His paintings often feature “Gus Gus,” Beaufort’s bird character: the bird often appears with a flower in his hand, which symbolises the artist’s philosophy of peace and tolerance, while his lack of eyes symbolise his non-judgmental attitude.
Stupid Krap are pleased to be making an exciting new silk screen available to our collectors, titled 'Blawsome'. This is our debut screen print edition with Lucas Beaufort. 7 colours hand pulled on 270gsm Mohawk Superfine Eggshell stock. Measuring 50cm x 50cm. Edition of 20 prints. Hand signed and numbered by Lucas Beaufort.
