Grab a hot dog at crif dogs, they're delicious. or pork buns and ramen at momofuku.
Check out the LISA project on instagram (little italy street art,) they do tons of murals with big name artists and it's walking distance from the EV.
Obviously the bowery wall. I think it's PichiAvo right now.
I'll post more if I think of it, but I moved out of the EV a year ago so it's a bit hazy.

The Bowery Wall is currently occupied by Paciavo
The Giant Dain & Cost Mural is on the corner of Allen & Delancey.
Allen Street on the Lower East side has murals up and down the block for approximately a mile,
Jerkface, Icy & Sot, Hektad, Space Invader, Nick Walker, Claw and many other artists have large murals everywhere.
If you are in town come on by our gallery at 102 Allen Street.

In my experience, that is certainly not a holiday resort for tourists. You must have your wits about you and best to be accompanied by a local friend.

There are some great walls in the Lower east side and a lot of Invader pieces there, particularly around Rivington, Ludlow, Essex etc. There are also great bars there which you can stop in to take refreshment. Best starting point is Ludlow Street above what was Max Fish (it's now a coffee shop opposite the side door of Katz's) there is a sweet invader there, then walk down the street to Iggys Bar, and have a beer, from there just wander, there is a ton of great stuff in the area. Enjoy.
