My trip broke down a little bit like this:
Friday 28th Dec
Started Travelling at 7am (UK Time)
Finished Travelling at 9pm (USA Time)
Went to grungy burger place called Big Nick (became a 2nd home)
Slept!
Saturday 29th of Dec
Went to Levine Gallery (Kept me Credit Card in my pocket)
Went to another gallery and loved the art I couldn't afford!
Went around New York like a tourist guide book in hand
Trendy New York type at Bowery liked my T-Shirt I felt cool ;D
Saw Patti Smith at the Bowery Ballroom (Incredible)
Sang 'Because the night belongs to lovers' at the top of my voice, I no longer felt cool 
Sunday 30th December
Bought tickets to the Knicks off a tout at Madison Square Garden
Discover we have the worst seats in Madison Square Garden
Realise that the Knicks are the Newcastle United of the NBA
Call gallery to try and make deal on art I cannot afford
Spend the night hanging around bars in the East Village
Monday 31st December
Wake up thinking I could play for the Knicks
Spend roughly $50 on the basketball game at the ESPN bar
Get beaten by an 8 year old girl and realise i will never play for the Knicks
4pm Start Q'ing at Time Square
6pm Realise Time Square is shit so we leave
Go across to Ludlow to bar called Max Fish
Crazy man called Tommy tells us how he killed people in Vietnam and that being Engish we must by beaten up by the Irish all the time!
Drunkenly talk to a Norwegian girl who is very out of my league
Celebrate the New Year with American kids who studied in England
Friend leaves Bowery Ballroom at 2.30am as he is to drunk
I have given my friend all my money for a taxi so I stop drinking 
Dance like an idiot with American girls to Les Savy Fav
Sing Slade with lead singer of Les Savy Fav
Find myself with no money and only a vague idea how to get to the hotel talking to a fella in a straw had and three 'Gangsta' kids on the subway at 5.30am 
Tuesday 1st January
Wake up at around 1pm (Head is very muddled) 
Walk around Soho and Chelsea with my hood up wearing white sunglasses (note I am now the opposite of cool)
Agree to buy the art I cannot afford! 
Have the best meal of my life in a place called Quest
Wednesday 2nd January
Pay for the art I cannot afford 
Go to bar to watch the Toon/City game
Meet the New York 'Newcastle United Fan Club' (It is very small)
Get very drunk as the bar is free because were from Newcastle
Buy vintage clothes I will never wear
Accidenly get the subway to Queens and think I might die
Go to hotel for an early night
Thursday 3rd of January
Go across to Brooklyn (Williamsberg)
Decide I want to live in Brooklyn
Spead to much on Clothes and Records
Buy a Penguin Jacket from a thrift store for $8 ;D
Go and see Avenue Q on Broadway
Get the worst pizza in my life from Little Italy there is a reason it's the only place open at 1am
Friday 4th of January
Act like a tourist and visit Empire State, ride the Staton Ireland Ferry etc
Find it sad how people are making money from Ground Zero
Visit a place called Mars Bar (very cool but kinda scary)
Listen to old New Yorker talk about the $3 Brothels from when he was a kid
My beer just cost me $5, I shake my fist at inflation!
Try the "I'm English thing" with the barmade (she is very un-impressed)
I shake my fist at tourism!
Saturday 5th of January
Go back to Brooklyn to buy more records
Go to Macys to buy 'Little Brown Bag'
Realise it's Bloomingdales not Macys that I should be at
Buy everyone 'I Love NY' T-shirts to make up for the lack of bags
4pm (USA Time) leave NY
Sunday 6th of January
8am arrive at Heathrow
Epic wait at Heathrow
Heathrow is not a fun place to be
4pm leave Heathrow
6pm I'm home
Monday 7th of January
It's my Birthday
People are very un-impressed with there T-Shirts
