Doubtful of a large edition as a consequence, but they're lovely imo. Going to be fairly hard to obtain (although not exclusive as Insta post would suggest lottery), and probably bloody expensive.
Doesn't look like they're related to the blossom originals teased a few weeks ago. Coincidence they're dropping the month of the final Currency burn? I think it's doubtful but who knows.

Even if 50% of Currency owners burn for the physical, that leaves 5,000 originals to be made for the holders. That would take years to make, just like the Currency did. That video showed perhaps 50 paintings, and his back is already killing him. No way he or his team are doing thousands of those by end of July. |

If you donโt claim it in 3 years, you arenโt left with an nft; youโre left with a worthless nft deed that has nothing attached to it; you forfeit your artwork if you pass the deadline, whereas the currency is a true nft. I think a lot of people donโt know the difference, and may be in for a rude awakening if they donโt claim their physical Emperesses before the deed expiration. Theyโll literally be left with nothing.
Why only currency holders? Maybe the Empresses also get involved. Because with Emperesses thereโs no decision to be made; itโs not an nft, itโs an nft deed. Thereโs no experiment; itโs a physical piece of art that has an nft deed attached to it so you donโt have to ship it if you sell it. Meaning, those that are โholdingโ arenโt doing anything but postponing the inevitable shipping of their physical Emperesses, whereas Currency holders are forfeiting the physical art for the nft.
