Damien Hirst • Paper Veils, 300 Original Paintings, by sevrin on Jun 16, 2024 11:48:22 GMT 1, Ha nice markup and still reasonably priced really Strange how something can be perceived as being 'reasonably priced' at 35k, when one just sold at below cost, 20k with fees.

It’s “reasonably priced” when you’re trying to flip a poorer image for £5k less.

Great colours and a great buy! Completely agree. If these keep dropping I’m going to try to recreate this wall…

This auction was bizarre. Curated by the Connor Brothers - it had one of their girlfriend’s stock from her gallery (fossils) and her work (Alma Singer) included. They are also curating her show at Andipa soon.

I get the charity thing but, of all the work she has available, I'm not sure how classy it was to put "Alma's" Basquiat "inspired" work, titled: "Same Old Sh*t" in the same auction as a few authentic Basquiat prints.

There was also some seemingly very cheap Jordy Kerwick's, or has the bottom just come out of his market? Like this www.bonhams.com/auction/29905/lot/38/jordy-kerwick-b-1982-untitled-2023/
