Visit LONDON ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Icesay on Mar 8, 2016 22:45:03 GMT 1, Thanks Icesay - I do enjoy going out and given the miles I cover (did 17 miles in one day last summer) I'm assuming it's also keeping me slightly fit. You wouldn't believe just how many photos I've amassed though and what I post is literally 5% of what I capture. It is really rewarding to hear such kind words
No problem! All your enthusiasm and effort is a credit to not just your obvious love of street art but this forum as a whole. Thanks a lot man...keep doing what you do โบ This is the best thread by far!

Visit LONDON ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Street Art, Galleries, Events, by met on Mar 9, 2016 0:10:08 GMT 1, In terms of somewhere to stay, Shoreditch becomes very rowdy at night around weekends. Depending on your age you might find it a bit intolerable. 10-15mins walk away, Clerkenwell is a bit more grown up and has less people vomitting in the streets, has some nice quiet tucked away pubs and places to eat. Or, somewhere around Angel (tube) or off Upper Street would give you a *massive* choice of good places to eat. It's quite lively in a nice way at night. In Clerkenwell (immediately west and north of Barbican, for thewral's benefit), they're more likely to do it privately at home or in a restaurant bathroom cubicle.
Note that "vomiting" and "throwing up" are considered vulgar expressions as well. The preferred term is "to purge".

Visit LONDON ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Street Art, Galleries, Events, by 11 on Mar 9, 2016 1:41:34 GMT 1, Here's a few I stumbled upon over the Wick, busting for a slash I ducked in a side alley where some fencing had been pulled down. Some great bits scattered about but I don't know how I wasn't savaged by Rats, bathed in disinfectant when I got home.....

Visit LONDON ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ Street Art, Galleries, Events, by stillborncrisps on Mar 9, 2016 20:09:23 GMT 1, Summer in Chicago is quite grand with the nice weather, lack of trash on the streets (looking at you, NYC), and the ample outdoors seating for drinking and dining. You also have access to a beach literally steps away from the city and weekly free fairs, concerts, etc other activities.
You don't like trash?? Not sure you're coming to the right place!
No image sums up London more perfectly than this:

Very impressive piece. Perhaps seeing again may cause some debate as his work doesn't get much mention on here and has been around Shoreditch for some time.
