Pejac Recent Prices!!, by urbanaj on Nov 30, 2022 10:57:21 GMT 1, Fair would be at or below cost. Especially in this economy. Pejac can't even get legitimate gallery representation or a gallery show so he has little prospect of becoming a known and respected artist in the art world. The prices should reflect that common knowledge. I respect your point of view, but even Banksy (a random name) nowadays is not officially represented by any gallery. Pejac is a very talented artist, I think it's difficult for someone with his ideas to go unnoticed. Considering that at source his last prints has been released with a costs of โฌ7000 (raffled) the last prices are totally in range with current market The main edition was โฌ4500? www.art collectorz/artworks/artwork-detail?artwork_id=27135&edition_id=35058

Pejac Recent Prices!!, by yoss on Nov 30, 2022 18:15:08 GMT 1, There's no conspiracy. I am simply recognizing that Pejac prices are thriving in a time when the entire market (besides a very small # of artists) is down. In my opinion, this is long overdue. But again we will have to see if these new prices hold. The Snow Angel piece I actually asked Max about. He informed me that the seller had permission by the artists estate to list it for auction. I'm sure they got a % of what it sells for but importantly they get the hype from the hammer price, just like what this post is doing. This is strategy by his estate, almost like a pump by the artist. Most artists do this earlier in their careers. Now they will probably increase print and original prices. I'm sure from these new results they are seeing much more interest already from collectors. These new prices + the post by the famous actress with 13M followers helped him gain more traction. Much deserved and as a collector who owns a few OGs and prints, I don't mind Who was the actress? (Thanks Daniel Silk for taking the minimum words out!!)

He's gotta wave his arms around and do wacky things just to get noticed.
Even if Pejac returns to making interesting work someday, he's got an uphill climb against a sea of others who have resumes and work experience. If a person has 7000 to throw away on a nice picture that they'll enjoy on a wall without any care of whether the artist blows up, then that's okay too.

I don't believe so. You could always contact Max and see if he knows of any for sale.

Pejac Recent Prices!!, by yoss on Dec 7, 2022 22:08:15 GMT 1, While I am not sure he has the best business plan (but what do I know about the art market), Pejac deserves the attention in my opinion (yes, I own Pejac prints).
Supply, demand and quality determine value. I only hope supply stays low, demand increases when others learn of Pejac's awesome works, and quality continues to be as good or better than it has been.
Maybe bigger galleries will learn of him...hopefully so...
It's not like he is Mr. Brainwash (and yes, I own one of his prints too)

Honest mistake, missed those. But my point still stands. Vast majority of artists are under selling and prices are dropping. Inverse is happening with Pejac. UAA is full of salty people wishing they got into an artist sooner. Case in point - MW

UAA is actually full of experienced people who collect plenty of artists without constantly hyping just one artist (given that a third of your posts are about Pejac).

Iโm definitely not salty and certainly donโt flip (like a lot of the long standing members here). As well as being collectors, some of us even take the time to make others aware of releases and ensure that people donโt get caught out. Carry on hyping though.

Pejac Recent Prices!!, by witchdoctor on Dec 9, 2022 12:05:37 GMT 1, A lot of collectors/flippers jumped off the train a few years back, and have been constantly complaining about bad management, bad ideas, bad working capasity ever since.
I think there are just to many other better objects to pump out there than Pejac, why would any serious pumpers invest lots of time in him. His production is constantly low, only high quality big often HF editions. Often ends up framed up on walls. Small originals have been possible to buy from source earlier, dont know how this is today, but priced pretty well so there havent been obviously good flipping material. Big originals are rare and oversubscribed.
Pejac marked have been flat for some years, but after the Berlin show were really big serious art investors came in, his prices have been climbing even in a falling art marked. Its only good dogs who find birds in bad years.

Pejac Recent Prices!!, by Deleted on Dec 9, 2022 13:17:42 GMT 1, If this is so - then even more so you should be selling a pejac right now and using the money to buy a ton of great art. As itโs a buyers market for most art works right now.
