R.I.P TREVORM , by concrete jungle on Nov 22, 2022 21:02:20 GMT 1, Echo all the previous contributions. Never met Trev but always enjoyed his posts - especially back in the day when I started out on the urban art journey (I’ve had an account since 2007 but lost my password at the Proboards upgrade) Thoughts with his family and those who knew him personally on here. On a side note great seeing some of the old names posting on here - makes me sad to think of what the forum has become these days. The early years from the mid 2000’s where both exciting and engaging, with people genuinely looking out for each other both on and off line - something that Trev obviously played a key part in.

R.I.P TREVORM , by tiny poubelle on Nov 22, 2022 21:15:10 GMT 1, Such sad news.
I only met him once, around 8 years ago. I put a for sale thread on here, with maybe 10-12 pieces and he bought it all. Some nice SPQR, Mudwig, Micallef etc. I drove them to London and we met and shared a couple of beers. He was such an easy guy to talk to. He seemed to love most artists at the time, so I’m not surprised he had a house full of stuff. Really saddened to hear of his passing.
RIP Trev.

Only knew Trev through P.M's and emails.
Just reading about the time he was at a wedding around summer 2018 in Ireland. He found a stencil rat on a derelict shop and sent me the picture, we had some laugh about Banksy being in Ireland
Condolences to his family and all who knew him a true gentleman

A gentleman who epitomised all that is good. I’ve donated and will happily re donate the prizes should my name come out. I will take the years supply of Hob Nob’s though.
Rest in Peace Trevor

R.I.P TREVORM , by pippyt75 on Nov 23, 2022 1:53:02 GMT 1, As many have already said Trev was a top bloke, one of the best, a gent with a big heart and a wicked sense of humour. I first met Trev in 2015 when I sold him a Borondo print (remember him!). It was framed so I messaged Trev to say that the postage would unfortunately cost a lot. Trev was having none of it! Postage?! Not likely! Before I knew it I was arriving at Trev’s house with a Borondo under my arm. I was expecting to have a quick chat, drop the print off and go on my merry way. But a few hours and a few bottles of wine later I left knowing I’d made a great friend. From then on we’d meet up a few times a year under the guise of striking some deal or other. But it was never really about that - rather coincidentally it was always when his wife was out with friends and Trev had just discovered some new pokey beer that I simply had to try! And boy were some of them pokey! Sometimes we’d haggle for hours over a print or negotiate some sort of insanely elaborate swap deal but really it was about having a good old natter. Because as much as Trev was an art lover - and he really was - above all else he was a people lover. I think what he truly valued were the connections and friendships he made through his love of art. It’s a distinction we can all take something from. What a total f**king legend he was. Big thanks to Pidge for starting this thread so we can share some memories. I’ve really enjoyed reading the other comments and seeing how many folk Trev touched. Rest in Peace mate.

R.I.P TREVORM , by Love Is In The Air on Nov 23, 2022 3:53:44 GMT 1, I met Trevor a couple of times as he would never post anything. First time when I got my Bast Micky from him I went to his office and he had a lovely collection of urban art on the walls and a few other interesting bits and bobs. Then he hand delivered my secret Santa a few years later and spent the next several years trying to buy my Barcode. A true Gentleman This sounds like the Trev I knew....often trying to prise a print from someone, no doubt in a playful or cheeky way. He would also occasionally sell a Banksy and then regret it and buy it back later because he missed it like a friend!
He took great joy in his collection and I know he loved seeing my face and my eyes looking stunned when he would pulled out some rare print he casually had under 10 other run-of-the-mill editions. No doubt others will have had similar experiences in SE London.

Never met him in person but seemed like all round great guy just going from his posts and from what members have been saying. RIP Trev

Great to read everyone's memories and thanks for setting-up the just giving page and the raffle pidge - very generous and a great cause. RIP Trev, you will be sorely missed around these parts.

R.I.P TREVORM , by Shoot Again on Nov 23, 2022 11:59:12 GMT 1, It's with great sadness I write this post to inform you that we have sadly lost a good friend and longstanding forum member and all round top bloke! Most of you would have known him on here as Trevorm but to some of us he was good old Trev. Sadly Trev lost his battle with cancer last week after fighting Leukemia courageously for over a year. Trev was truly the best of people and those who knew him will back me in saying what a great guy he was. He contributed massively to this community for well over a decade with his upbeat positive attitude, knowledge and I must say he loved an art deal and a biscuit! I have decided to hold a raffle in Trev's memory to raise some funds for Cancer Research UK. I first met him trying to buy a Banksy print many moons ago so it seems fitting to offer up some of my Banksy goodies for somebody to win. I have set up a JustGiving page, the link is posted below. www.justgiving.com/fundraising/trevorm-artIn addition to the Banksy bundle I'm also giving the lucky raffle winner a years supply of McVities Hobnobs (its what Trev would have wanted!). Ok, so here is the 'deal'. I understand its tough times for people so please only give what you can afford to donate. This is about helping an important charity in memory of a great guy....please no negative comments on this thread. To be clear, the JustGiving link is open to those that wish to just donate to the charity but I have added the raffle as I think its in the spirit of what my mate would have liked. If you wish to just donate there is no need to put your name. If you wish to enter the raffle please make your donation shall we say £5 an 'entry' but add your name, email and forum name to the JustGiving donation info section with your donation. Feel free to give more if the charity means more to you or if you can. The size of donation WILL NOT effect the outcome of the raffle. I'm running the fundraiser until the end of Jan '23 and the winner will be selected in the first week of Feb '23. This is my first attempt at this so let's hope it works and raise some funds for this amazing charity. I will select the lucky winner at random....method to be confirmed and transparent (no funny business). I will post the winner on here and contact them directly to make arrangements. So here is the bundle: Banksy Di-Face Tenner (Genuine) Banksy Box Set (Walled Off Hotel receipt) Banksy Pallestine poster (Walled Off Hotel receipt) Banksy Peckham Rock (British Museum receipt) Banksy Forgive Us Our Trespassing poster (Don't panic double sided, folded) Banksy Walled Off Hotel T-Shirt and Pearly Gates postcard (Bought direct by me at the hotel in the first week it opened) McVities Hobnobs (more than you can get through!) Good luck and thanks in advance to all that donate from me (and Trev) Very nice of you pidge to set-up that just giving page and the associated (very generous) raffle. RIP Trevor, Cancer Research is a great cause which is very dear to me xxx

I’ve really enjoyed and been quite moved by the tributes and stories shared by some of you who were able to call Trevorm a friend. I’ve always enjoyed reading his posts…and the updates from buyers on whether or not an art purchase was accompanied with a hobnob. It doesn’t feel like all that long ago that he was settling into retirement and it’s tragic to think how little of this time he was able to enjoy. A genuinely passionate art collector and a true gent. RIP Trevorm

R.I.P TREVORM , by marday mayday on Nov 24, 2022 22:52:43 GMT 1, I am very sad to hear the news. I met Trevor about a year ago. He was kind enough to message me on this forum for a Blek Le Rat print I was searching for. He was very kind and made the trip all the way from his home in South London to North London to deliver it to me by hand. He forgot his lovely blanket he used to cover the piece from his car at my flat. About three months ago, Trevor invited me to his home in South London to determine whether or not I may be interested in purchasing some more pieces. I was sad to hear he was going through a challenging time due to illness but his attitude remained positive. Thank you for the biscuits and unlimited cups of tea. (I did return the blanket).
I purchased several pieces on the day. I attach my favourite. I am hoping someone who visited Trev may know something about it?

R.I.P TREVORM , by compound on Nov 24, 2022 23:44:46 GMT 1, I just came back from a funeral yesterday of another great forum member corblimeylimey/CBL/Brian (not sure how to search for members) and found out about Trevorm this evening. Absolutely gutted.
So everyone who met him knows about his appreciation of biscuits and fine art.
I’ve just been reading through our emails and here are some of his kind, warm and witty posts. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind me sharing with a few details left out.
“don’t worry Lesley had a c-section, with our second but worked out OK all round as everybody knows what they're doing and if anything it seemed easier for the patient. Our third almost put in his first appearance in the lift on the way up to Maternity at Kings, we returned home that evening to find the other two kids watching cartoons on the telly totally unconcerned. It'll all be fine”. We only knew each other from buying and talking about art, but he had a lovely way of making you feel safe and listened to - a real skill.
We’d send each other pics of stuff we had bought a little game of “showing off”. He would win with a picasso sketch or a Harland or some really cheeky banksy bits.
“Sorry if I bullied you into letting me have the LP for cost - but it was very well received and i’ll have the cup of tea (and Hob Nobs) ready until your next trip to see pidge or whenever you're over this way”.
“The rude copper got close to the wall but Lesley didn’t like it”. 😂
“PS I'm seeing Pidge tmw at the Offy - I think he's going to be offering me samples!” 😂😂😂😂
RIP Trev and love to the family another lovely man gone to

R.I.P TREVORM , by ricobenfico on Nov 26, 2022 18:15:04 GMT 1, It's taken me a few days to process this after seeing Pidge's original post.... Trevor and I had been emailing recently, I knew he was undergoing test, bloods etc for cancer but like what's already been said, he'd played it all down. Talking more about family, developments and of course our collections. I'm still a bit shell shocked.
I can't add much more to what's already been posted by great members other than it's been a great pleasure to talk with, deal and exchange ramdom gifts over many years..... I'll cherish what Trev has sent to me and appreciate the most recent deal (Parla) from this year even more.......
RIP Trevor..... World 0 - Heaven 1

R.I.P TREVORM , by Happy Go Lucky Chap on Nov 26, 2022 19:40:36 GMT 1, So sorry to hear this news. I never had the chance to meet Trev, but reading through all the comments from those that did he was clearly a top bloke, who will be dearly missed by many. Thoughts are with his family and friends.
RIP Trev.
