Yeah, the print run is lower than expected, I agree. But, then again, it's still an edition size of around 800. That's not exactly a low edition number, is it? Any print run (by any artist) over 4 or 500 and I start to think it's not really a limited edition. I know it is, technically, but it's stretching the definition of limited edition in my opinion, when you reach the 800 ball park figures.

These are a lot lower edition sizes than I was expecting.

Happy with Camo I picked up for the wall.

I was put off by these potentially being v large editions but now the numbers are out I regret not getting a couple more as think will they rise in value moving forward.

Cracking size, Iconic invader images (well most of them), hand signed, vibrant colours, medium to low edition size.

i dont think they will be comparable, they will likely end up in their own tier (along with any other timed editions he ends up releasing).  Unlike other invaders, i presume there will be at least one of each available on ebay at all times for the foreseeable future.  Any other screenprint and you might have to wait around quite a while for one to pop up in a publicly available setting.

I think that sense of availability will keep prices reasonable for a long time.  The sense that you can get one any time will keep many people from ever getting one.  If they really look great that may spike demand but i doubt it.

Full disclosure, bought a camo, and we will enjoy it hanging.  From the photos i also dont think it will compare to an aladdin sane or oh alright.  Think we have a few months to wait before we find out.

I see that the first listings are already up as pre-orders now, and have to believe they are dreaming at the listing prices.  "NOTE: This is a Pre-Order and will be immediately shipped out once received from HENI (around 4 months)."

It would be fair to say I wasn’t good enough to dodge as many punches as I’d have liked to. 

Edition size is immensely high comparable to the price paid.

800 Edition for 3k vs. e.g. Alert print with a run of 60 of each type at 6.5-8k. If I'm not stupid, low edition prints are currently highly undervalued.

These editions, desptite all the criticism including mine, will surely reach very high value as they will be very desirable to new invader collectors, more than little etchings for instance. There will be less soul but more decorative and easy to understand art

Glad I pulled the trigger on a set, thanks for the haters for slating these. I stand by my comment that anything less than 1k editions and it's a win. They're obviously not his best prints in terms of the printing method but at a 1/4 of the price and 4x the size of many can't see a problem, yes the edition is larger than most but plenty of successful editions of 500-1000 from other artists so not unprecedented. The only risk I see is him doing other more desirable timed edition with Heni.

If these prints become the new baseline price for invader, it might just increase the prices of his existing prints, or these might actually sell for below cost, but I doubt the latter. All speculation now, we’ll know they they finally come out. I think the edition size was low enough for this to be a good buy.

I’m not convinced at all too. The only next release I would imagine with Heni, would be a limited edition. Maybe with better visuals, maybe smaller but surely way more expensive. 
does anyone on this forum owns the Country Life original artwork ? I guess it was sold by Lazarides, it is the cover of the Low Fidelity exhibition book. 
It was many years ago, I’m pretty sure the price of the original during this exhibition was the same as the edition from Heni. 

Just hang it on the wall and enjoy it for a few years until something else comes along that needs the space. Then worry about it

I’m pretty sure there are other more accurate indicators of collector sentiment.
