Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Crime in the City on Feb 14, 2023 22:21:54 GMT 1, still $7.5M in sales... not bad. I wonder how people will show the hidden signed sticker behind the huge metal print... They could suspend it on ropes from the ceiling and have a mirrored living room wall?

I really don't think people care.
There is always more art to buy.

If I didn't like the format, size, and images last week, yesterday, or today, the edition size isn't going to change *any* of those things. Whenever I see large scale art like this, I ask myself what I would take down to make room for it. And for me, there isn't a single thing I would remove from my walls to replace with any of these images.
Simple.

I guess collectors really didnโt like these.. canโt imagine how disappointed Heni is Yes and no. Considering the economic decline / recession it makes sense that people arenโt as willing to drop $3k on unneeded stuff. Every industry is seeing decreases including more essential products so these sales are better than expected.

Inside each collector, there is an hidden flipper. I began collecting at 13 and perhaps it last until I was 19 or 20 before I was interested in resale value and at least combining the true pleasure of collecting and making a good investment. So I guess pure collecting does not exist but surely pure flippers exist.

Iโm not convinced at all too. The only next release I would imagine with Heni, would be a limited edition. Maybe with better visuals, maybe smaller but surely way more expensive. does anyone on this forum owns the Country Life original artwork ? I guess it was sold by Lazarides, it is the cover of the Low Fidelity exhibition book. It was many years ago, Iโm pretty sure the price of the original during this exhibition was the same as the edition from Heni. Yeah I donโt this market will handle it and wouldnโt be in his or Heniโs interest. I agree thereโs more of a chance of a limited edition.

I consider this as a miss from Invader and Heni.

Iโll stick by my opinion that the Marilyn and Space Invader prints will do very well in the future, and perhaps so may the other two. Many people are negatively opining on the large size and format, but many collectors want large pieces for large walls in large homes and consistent auction results show that there is a class of collectors who are happy with shiny giclees on aluminium. They can talk down the value of works all they want, but the market speaks for itself. The recent conversations on edition size are ignoring that the last kit was an edition of 300 and commands a high price. We canโt compare kits to these prints, but we can say that he can very easily sell every print in a large edition at a fair price.
