Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Charlie Bronson on Feb 5, 2023 8:54:51 GMT 1, Little question for you guys. Who is gonna buy some? How many and which ones? I do not say that we are representative sample but I want to try a little guesstimate (with many extrapolation hypothรจses of course) of edition size of each print. Thanks a lot I bought NVDR-1 and 2. Imho these will be a smaller run than the Virtues and Emperesses. People are put off by Emp not performing, the NFT crowd wonโt be in on this one and the fact is there are more Hirst fans than Invader; Hirst is much more mainstream than Invader.

Thanks a lot Empress prints took around 2 days to reach 9 pages on this forum.this Heni Invader release about the same.. so by that logic my guess would be similar numbers so around 15,000 prints in total i could be wrong though. I may go for Camo but undecided.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by High Contrast on Feb 5, 2023 9:39:52 GMT 1, Be interesting to see how many of these Heni sell? a tough year ahead for savings with people's home loan payments going up etc. on top of bills and crazy inflation on everything. Could get a lot of people gambling and using their credit card, hoping for profit and we'll be seeing them all on ebay? I do like the first one and it would look amazing on the wall, but $3k is the amount I am trying to save for an original piece I am after, so I will pass on these. Doesn't seem like it will be much of a problem. Disappointing to see where the market has gone. Glad I โretiredโ. I'll be a fan from a distance.
this would have been better with better images and a cheaper price (shrink size if necessary).
I can't be the only one preparing for global economic hardships. Preparing by stocking a large pile of cash..
Similar to 90% of investors and funds
For a recession that is about as โdialled inโ as a phone in a lift.
Meanwhile markets are at all time highs and investors who have been out of the market โfor the crashโ for the last 6 months have missed out on a 10% gain at a MINIMUM
Dont get me started on people waiting for the โhouse price correctionโ either

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by pamplemousse on Feb 5, 2023 10:33:09 GMT 1, Couple observations.
1. Regarding weight The Virtues are laminated prints on dibond whereas these are diasec mounted and will be heavier. Like early Heni/Hirst (H4, H5...) editions, a 3-5mm sheet of acrylic adhered to the front will add at least 3kg. Due to added weight the subframe on back I imagine will be more substantial too.
2. The size of the Rubik's cubes on the Marilyn piece are roughly 1:1 to a real cube which is a nice touch.
Couple questions.
1. Has anyone seen or know of the original Marilyn piece? There is another variation on Invader's insta.
2. Those who have seen these in gallery is the image quality/sharpness of Country Life the same as the others? I am guessing the original is privately owned and wonder if it was loaned to be photographed to the same standard as the other 3 for this edition or an older image sourced.
Couple observations.

Oh, right, the sticker. Cool, cool 3) what is this? OK, Invader, rings a bell. And that's the best example of his works? Interesting... 4) a photo of Marylin made our of Rubik's cubes? How original...

As a price guide, I bought a 2.4m x 1.2m colour printed sheet of dibond for an external building sign for ยฃ210 this week. That price is for a one off as well.
Will be pretty much the same materials, but different printing technique (with archival inks) and finishing/coating.

Theyโre both trade names of the process/materials used. Dibond is a type of aluminum composite sheet.
Found this on a photography website:
Invented in 1969, Diasec is the preferred method of archival mounting across the globe. A photograph is first printed onto a fine art paper and then face-mounted, image side up, to transparent acrylic glass using advanced mounting techniques and a series of chemicals. This leaves the print archivally sealed - dust and air free. The back of the print is then mounted onto Dibond - an aluminium and plastic composite sheet. Sandwiched between the acrylic glass and Dibond, the print is left perfectly flat with a high-gloss finish.

Isn't your description of a Diasec print what you would find under the description of a Dibond print? It's worth noting that Heni never use the word 'diasec' because they do not have the authorisation to use that trade name, despite the fact that they are using exactly the same process that a diasec print would use.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Vroom & Varossieau on Feb 5, 2023 15:56:20 GMT 1, There is a significant difference between diasec and cheaper versions of dibond. The process might be the same. Only Diasec has the highest quality. Most museums prefer diasec too. Simply because the chance of color fading by light, is a bit smaller. Simply said diasec has better uv filtering.

These aren't particularly cheap, they re plan edition, the images could be much better and these are basically glorified photos of the artwork. The finish will be glossy.
That said, if I was after an invader print i would strongly consider one of these.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by Charlie Bronson on Feb 5, 2023 17:48:22 GMT 1, Anyone have thoughts on whether this will push the prices of his other prints up? I donโt see this release having any affect on his prices. Pretty much every print heโs released is in high demand and scarce; the guy rarely drops prints, so thereโs always consumer demand for his work. Some could argue this would cause prices to drop because of a number of reasons(heโs a sell out etc), while others could argue his now working with Heni could cause his prices to rise. Imho itโs neither.

It should make no difference to the overall prices of prints as very different products. Might actually increase some of the early POW prints.
I can see the Heni release increasing in price by the end of the year. Marilyn and Camo will be more in demand, while the other two will go up a bit. I donโt think edition size will affect it too much as there are clearly two which are much better.

I like Invader's work but, try as I may, I simply can't convince myself to buy one of these. Now he is involved with Heni, I will wait patiently for the next release which hopefully will be better than this one. And knowing the cash machine which is Heni, it wont be long before they release the next invader set of prints.

Heni x Invader 'Rubikcubism', by surge on Feb 5, 2023 19:06:36 GMT 1, Does anyone have more info on the Country Life image? Itโs it two females or is the one on the right a man with a Speedo on? Iโm kinda leaning towards that image vs the Invaded cube and donโt want the Monroe (too red and too much Monroe imagery everywhere) or Camouflage (looks elementary and the cubes are huge).
