Damien Hirst H13 • Where the Land Meets the Sea, by sevrin on Jul 24, 2023 19:47:16 GMT 1, A few pics from my visit on Sunday, some great pieces, the full colour 'splat' paintings were my favourite, lots of texture which I liked, from 30 x 30cm to absolutely enormous! the monochrome seascape paintings are incredibly detailed, some with lots of paint splatter, and some with none at all, those were of a more conservative 'normal wall' friendly size.

When I went to see them yesterday, I was disappointed. They felt flat and soulless, like they had been printed by a machine and so what's the difference if they had been. Although I actually liked the coast, abstract floor ones, at least they had energy and spontaneity

There were 8 yellow and 20 blue remaining, with the other colour sold out. Person said they had been very popular.

That sold out quickly. What was the edition of each poster? Thanks 333 each was reported on the Discord server, reportedly said by staff at Phillips. A Phillips’ employee directly told me they reserved the right to print more, and to have more signed, but the last I saw, Hirst was in some tropical paradise with his dogs. |
