Prices have been climbing away from most of us on this forum, hard to stay interested when You know You will never be able to buy an original or even a print. They need to continue moving into new markeds, will be interesting to see how it works out.

Max apparently pissed off various members of the ‘Venice crew’ when he didn’t allocate more originals to them post-show, and that’s why such members come back b*tching on Pejac threads in here under various new nicknames. As you were.

Max and team are a very hard working crew. Both his and Pejac's attention to detail is extremely high and their work ethic matches the ambition required to deliver the quality of work they're able to produce. I've collaborated with a number of organisations over the years and often get frustrated by laziness and a 'that'll do' attitude so it's been refreshing to meet a team with high ambitions who will chase constant improvement. I've had the pleasure to work with them for Apnea and it was a real team effort with a huge input from everybody. Pejac is the only artist I know who will explore new mediums, topics and concepts rather than churn out a copy and paste of something that worked.

A great team and I very much look forward to the NY show.

I think the price point will also be very interesting. It's clear buyers are running out of cash. I'm not even sure if the New Wave and War ones would reach original prices at auction.

Let's see how they go about that. Perhaps bigger editions, lower price. Or they just go for 7k again

I am definitely flying up to go to this exhibit!!! Finally in the US!! I flew to Paris for the Waterline show and was fortunate enough to get selected for one of The Forest's. Hanging here in my office as I type.

I'll post pictures from the show in a couple of weeks when I get them...

Pretty freaking stoked!!!  Can't wait to see what new pieces Pejac has on display!!!

Hopefully the show will bring new eyes to his works and the shear quality involved and will lift/raise values

What do people think of the promo video?

Yeah there was nothing new and no teasers like there was for the Berlin show. I was a little underwhelmed. I really feel they need to do something to turn the excitement up on this one. But very difficult in the current climate (must remember to thank the governments and the sheep)

yes, berlin was my first pejac show and it was great to see his paintings live. also pejac himself was present on the first evening and i was able to talk to him briefly and he gave me a personal dedication on the boss card, which was great.

Catalogue is out and prices are hiiiiigh. 60k for oil paintings.

around 20-30k for everything else.

Seeing the catalogue reconfirms he is one of the best and skilled living artists out there. Every single piece is jaw dropping and it also seems that a fair few have sold already too, but that's no surprise really.
