Damien Hirst, The Secrets H14, by Invader1887 on Jan 28, 2024 17:23:10 GMT 1, I haven’t seen any Invader Heni releases offered below cost yet. Most are either not selling due to a reserve or above cost. As to prints prices have taken hard hits too. People are selling for below £2.5k (as below) and those sold at other auction houses are not recouping their cost after seller fees. If they were printed on paper, they would not perform as bad. Sold for under £2.5k Currently available for under £2.5k Well, his latest print on paper didn’t sell out…..Don’t get me wrong I prefer paper too. In my view the main problem with the Heni release was the motive. Had they released the Camos with Heni I am pretty sure we would have seen a far better performance.

There was no excuse why this couldn’t have been a 5 colour screenprint.

I have the MM and absolutely love it. It’s worth every penny in my book. I’ll leave the speculation of value to others.

Of course, it does not mean that they sell at this price. But, there is no way these particular ads (above) are not scams, probably cancelled quickly after you saw them. I would say that between 3k and 4k, as of today, they sell very quickly if you are in Paris or major European city except London (20% import duty...).

These are all genuine sales (not cancelled or relisted) and the one at £2,200 is also genuine. Other sales on eBay are ‘best offer accepted’ so we don’t know the final sale price, but significantly lower than your valuation.
Just because you own one, please don’t try and dispute genuine sales as I don’t make things up and why I share evidence - just enjoy it as I’m sure it will go up again in the future if you ever decide to sell.

I follow almost every sale of these and many other things because it is a kind of obsession even though I sell myself not so often... I have seen quiet a few of these selling over the last months from arround retail price to 5k. Average price at 4 - 4.5k (excl shipping and duty wich adds arround 1k!). So your post was very surprising for me and I tried to understand why it is so far from my obervation. As there are a lot of scams for Invader works, it was my first hypothesis. I tried to find them again and believe me they are not available for French buyers. So I went specificaly on Ebay.uk and there are some arround 4k (which might be the ones you show if they make some price drops) but these sellers seem not to ship to France. Not very clever from them. But anyway, even if they did, that would explain a lot : most buyers are in France and shipping + import duty might add arround 1k if you sell at 3k.
Edit : I would be very interested by the link of this offer if it is public. If you can send it to me. At 2k, if I convince the seller to ship abroad, honestly that's a bargain

As these are so heavy a lot of sellers won’t risk selling overseas. At least you now have a better idea of what they are genuinely selling for in the UK (I ignore prices what people would like to sell them for).
I don’t want to continually share prices sold as my only reason for mentioning on this thread was about Heni dibond saturating their market and people preferring prints on paper.
Now let’s hope we are lucky on the new Invader release. 😊

I'm not a fan of the 'di-bond' era. You know what would be great? Close the sale out, background bit is di-bond and then, once all orders are in, they line each group up in the studio and the splatter is authentic paint on top of the di-bond (but, no one ever listens to me...).
