Do you guys reckon it will be the button smashing, site crashing, general chaos of drops a couple of years ago. Or do you reckon picking up the editions, especially the ones with 120 prints, will be manageable?

Sounds like they ship in an AA crate, which I have reused for storage of a few prints, but it makes it a bit costly. ยฃ221+taxes stings a bit when hoping for one of the cheaper prints and shipping to Oz 
Total โฌ267 including VAT and shipping, I consider it a fair purchase price for the print in question.

We are waiting for July 15th.

Its a mass produced print from a ยซfragmentedยป canvas, digitally done. They can call it ยซuniqueยป and HF as well ofc. I expected more from a release from Pejac and AA, as it is a massiv collab.

I'm confident we have the answer no? The Hand-Finished Goldleaf is applied by a master guilder overseen by the artist. Making them "Hand finished Pejac Prints", or "Hand Finished prints by Pejac", we can argue about semantics all day. But the answer is the same, the gold leaf is applied by a Master Guilder, of which Pejac ain't. Knowing how meticulous and driven he is in his work, I trust his decision in this. I doubt very much that AA had a say in it. |

Say he worked for 4 weeks and 5 days per week. That's basically, 250 per week and so 50 per day. That's quite a lot to get through. I can't imagine you can rush the application of gold leaf.

You put number 1 and 8 side by side and they will look remarkably different. Number 8 will have 21 more figures in it for a start. |

It took us the best part of two weeks, day and night to produce this, other artists had completed tower block murals in the same time period. He is absolutely meticulous in his process. |

Not following this too closely but:
My impression also was that Pejac created 1 work, and the prints capture that process. So, just like you say, after adding a few figures (3?) a photo would have been made which then is the basis for the print, or, maybe, which is the print?!

I would really like one of the first run as I think the minimal look would suit my home better.
If Avant Arte and Pejac really wanted to do something special have missed a good opportunity to make the work using 1000 people with the first having only one figure, the second in the edition having two all the way up to the 1000th having 1000 figures. Then charge one price say $750 but you do not know edition number you have purchase until they show up.

I think that it works better if you are planning to display the triptych to be honest. On its own it loses the context.
