John Brandler, main buyer of Banksy work that's been cut out of walls. Then whores them out in those pay to see shows. Mentioned that works look best on the street, before the other guy reminded him that he's a huge part of the problem lol.

Looks like a Banksy copycat to me and certain elements are not right.

1. Finishing on the tail is shocking
2. Positioning is not great (too quick, easy and obvious)
3. Lacks the motion of other safari works

…and finally, it is a cat (not a leopard / cheetah etc.) and that just seems too ‘domestic’ for the safari theme.

If it is a Banksy, then he was out all night and only remembered at 6am this morning he was meant to do something so just made this up.

As a vegan (legally I have to mention that five times a day), I thought I'd share my thoughts on the series. Quickly, and before I pass out from lack of protein and slip into the slumber of the eternal night.

The animals have all been painted pretty sincerely, not too jokey or cartoony. Pretty straight. Any humour is from the placement, but the animals themselves are what they are. He's not using them as a punchline or prop.

And the fish bar pelicans, again, as a vegan, I see that as suggesting the fish is best left for the pelicans. That's their food.

But we all see different things. It was incredible after the elephants appeared, to quickly look through 2000+ comments on Banksy's instagram, with almost everyone sharing their own interpretation of it. The same image, multiple meanings. It's a wonder we can function as a society.

Anyway, whatever his motivations behind it, it's been a pretty sweet project.

Looking at the outline of the head, and the end of the tail, it looks like a lioness.

Part of me was wondering if there could be a video to finish, bringing these all to life with AI or something, not sure if that’s a little in-Banksy or not.

Maybe, but I strongly suspect that Banksy wouldn't even touch AI with yours.

It's poorly executed and possibly unfinished - disturbed in the act? I'm not convinced it's a domestic cat, this k it's meant to be a tiger (or lioness)

 Would be quite a nice campaign for WWF or something on a different level.
