Really ? It looks so much like the type on Banksy's "One Nation Under CCTV" piece on Newman Street. I just assumed it must be him.

Also the only reason I knew the Alto Contraste were Alto Contraste was because of your flickr images. Any more info that you can divulge? Couldn't tell from their website whether this was a band of artists or 1 particular one. Cheers.

I've just got back from an awesome day there today! I felt like i was in a bit of a daze! Overwhelmed with so much good art and all the people, really good atmosphere. Looking forward to seeing all the photos I took!

but don't you think that if the tunnel is open to all, all those pieces will get dfaced and covered with tags etc within a couple of days ?

Went again yesterday (6ish)...it was packed, far busier than the Saturday but was worth it to see the extra pieces. Good to see Blek finally up and I’m pretty certain the half Volvo wasn’t there on my first visit! Good to see so many Jef pieces kickinga round as well….I loved the pigeon ;D
The mass of artwork spewing from every pore of the place was breathtaking…so great to see so many great artists in one place and the open invitation to young whipper snappers to display their talents as well…such a great concept. POW have really raised the bar extremely high with this one.
My only criticism of the event would be that there were far too many people taking photos for the sake of taking photos. Everywhere I looked people were clambering over each other to take photo after photo and then moved on to the next piece to repeat the process! I didn’t see to many people actually looking at what was on the walls, floors, all around…shame as there was so much to see and take in.
If anyone manages to get down there today I’d love to know what state the tunnels been left in. I really hope the walls stay in place, it’d be a massive shame to lose such brilliant works of art to people whose only love is money and not the art (everything seemed a bit too big to me to be removed but with the removal of recent street pieces I guess anything’s possible  )
