I think it must be very hard living Banksys life, almost reclusive. It just shows what a good job him/they do keeping him under wraps, a years investigation and they can't even get a recent snap shot of him.

I think he should come out and be known if this is the case, he would have alot more freedom to do what he wanted as a more serious artist (if he wanted that of course). Plus the fact it would be great to see lots of people screaming 'Oh my god, Banksy is middle class, what a wanker' whilst sitting in cul de sac homes with their £1000's of pounds worth of prints hanging in the study.
