there is no question banksy was in jamaica, he did some work at a reggae artist's place, buju banton i think. the bag and stencil could well be banksy's, they probably were, all i'm saying is it is pure speculation to link the face to the name - all the evidence is circumstantial.
when the painter and decorator was revealed in east london, the one with the michael de feo flower, there was a supposed expose' of banksy there but he would have been long gone by that point. it serves his agenda to make people think that this is him, it allows the man to continue in peace.
i'm not saying whether it is or isn't him in the picture but on the basis of a miffed taxi driver citing him and the lure of a large wad that would have brought i think you have to question the legitimicy of the one key, crucial piece of evidence?
