D*Face Website HACKED Again!, by bullet on Jun 13, 2008 23:42:51 GMT 1, People should get out to the pub more, some 15 year old sitting in his pants on his parents sofa at 2pm hacking sites needs to get a life to be honest.
pointless, whats their problem?
All it communicates is that they want publicity so they choose a popular artist to do it with, if anything its giving the artist more publicity, no one gives a s**t about the hackers

Someone needs to grow up, me thinks. I mean, leave the guy alone now for fuck's sake!!

D*Face Website HACKED Again!, by low3 on Jun 14, 2008 0:24:16 GMT 1, Fair enough if they felt the need to do it once (But even then, i think it was totally OTT), what do you prove by doing it twice??
The point's already been made the first time you did it: its old news. get over it you silly little boys!! Go and play on the motorway or something.

D*Face Website HACKED Again!, by onemandown72 on Jun 14, 2008 0:26:19 GMT 1, I imagine that they read the pages, and still continue to throw their toys out of their pram. I'm no huge fan of D-Face, but cannot for the life of me begin to understand why do that to someone's website. Maybe there is a valid reason, if so let people know as opposed to just f*cking up a web site purely as the only people who want to commission their work offered a can of warm stella.

D*Face Website HACKED Again!, by dmandpenfold on Jun 14, 2008 1:25:05 GMT 1, funny isn't it? That members of a forum who enjoy the fruits of artists who to many other people are nothing but vandals and a scourge are critical of the Dface hacker, who in his or her own way is doing exactly the same thing...you might argue the hacker is targetting an individual even victimizing him, but don't street artists have 'favourite' subjects of ridicule too, bush, blair, america or whatever is the subversive's hot topic of choice at the time.
first time round many on here saw the irony, thought it was quite clever, funny even, not this time though. I'm not championing the hacker, dont really care too much about his motives or his beef with Dface, i simply like the irony of this thread on this forum..

D*Face Website HACKED Again!, by thebleedingedge on Jun 14, 2008 12:12:32 GMT 1, The scene has been hijacked by money.. some of us are still doing our thing though. I find it hilarious that all the people who fought in d*faces corner last time were near the top of his mailing list... the funniest bit is how the artists you put so much energy in protecting call you rich mugs and use you as nothing more than a catalyst of hype to serve their own purposes. You're calling me sad here but they're calling you sad to my face, put it in perspective. If you don't get it, you weren't supposed to.. simple as.
Graffiti never made sense to people like you before it had big fuck off dollar signs attached to it's forehead, and ever since you felt like you somehow had some say over the whole thing.. wrong.
We do everything you don't, we know these people, you don't. You have no insight into the why's or how's because you couldn't do the stuff we do even if you wanted to. I've got more than enough evidence to support my case, what do you have? Nothing but the little crumbs your favourite artist gives you to keep you on the hook and then you sit on the internet all day talking shit. Don't believe the hype.
You have allowed this whole thing to be turned into an internet game, where if an artist can get some people in london who are on the internet talking about them like they are up or prolific, then everyone elsewhere just assumes it's true. Talk about hijacking... luckily for us though, we can adapt and play this game too.
For those of you who still don't get it... I know how to make it all make sense to you.. so I will be making 3 limited print runs of the D* hack, clown aggy, yuppie aggy and of course the last hit. You know where to find my email.

D*Face Website HACKED Again!, by sahoria on Jun 14, 2008 12:35:58 GMT 1, who are you to tell people what they should like? truthfully??? its own persons decision what they spend there hard earned money on not yours... if you feel the need to use another artist to sell your stuff then go ahead...(which looks alot like what you are doing now).
who are you to judge others and say they are only interested in d* because he is worth money... i know alot of people that love his work... alot of people that have followed him for years when he was posting stickers all over the place... he has his own style and people like it... your stuff no idea about and you talking about keeping it street i guess there will be two sides to that argument...
you seem like someone who is very angry and if you are an artist why dont you go out and do your artwork that way rather than jumping on somebody elses bandwagon to get your recognition?
what are you on about couldnt do the stuff we do...as if you are elite group or something... whole idea about graffitti in the first place is that anyone can do it... you will have your opinions and i will have mine...d* wont be recognised by people through you... but you will no doubt from now on be recognised through d* defies what you set out to do i would think? anyway if you feel happy about everything you have done then congrats to you... you probably have made a few friends here but think majority just see you as an angry person...
if a person likes artwork it is there choice not yours.. .you trying to influence people for now your own gains i think is wrong... my opinion some will agree others wont... you talk about small internet game creating hype ... exactly what you are doing with this no???

Nice to see you making such sweeping assumptions that you have been so quick to criticize as shortsighted in many of your other posts. I for one don't see the need to justify my credentials or motivations behind my love of street art, maybe if we all wear a badge showing how long we have followed people writing on the streets then we can join your gang of those who are allowed a valid opinion. I also am no huge fan of D-Face, I don't find his work appealing and consider it good graphic design, no more no less. But I do respect that he has a following, and I also respect his right to earn a living and build a website. To hack into his site twice on the basis of his success is a small minded, and limited in effectiveness. Maybe it's the only way whoever has done so can draw any attention to their own work, as it clearly can't stand up on it's own merits. Get over yourself and your resentment at other artists success. You've yet to have the balls to put your own work up - it may be fantastic it may be awful, I just don't know. Whilst you seem to find the time to coat off all and sundry on here you can't find the time to post images of your work. I suggest that actions speak louder than words get something up that you've put up on the street and get the debate back to that.

D*Face Website HACKED Again!, by thebleedingedge on Jun 14, 2008 12:38:40 GMT 1, Haha, Jon, the only stuff you would have seen was the stupid shoreditch hits we did because people like you don't look outside of shoreditch, that campaign was pretty funny because we absolutely made everything up as we went, we ended up getting in 4 papers, 2 gallery shots, 2 telivision programmes and magazines and all with the dumbest hits using leftovers and colours that didn't match, point proved.
Why would I want to make a s**t print of photoshop bollocks? Wait, I thought you were meant to be defending D*
Many names, many styles but only 1 game, don't make it personal Jon, a jayz avatar don't make you hard
