Is it any different now, then when it started? I dare say that Smif/BE will be no different - he/she wont be giving art away once interests in his/her work picks up!!!
I'd say it's very very different to where it started from, money now being a huge motivation behind alot of activity - hopefully tho there's still a message to get out there and artists who still have drive to make a difference or at least make us all question the norm

This cycle happens EVERY month and I am hugely tired of it.
I also don't give a shit who's the print is - you are the one doing the dirty promotion work. If you are such a hot graphic designer 'with contacts' why don't you make your money from your job or at least stop posting your shitty flipping threads on here.

Obviously theres much more to life than money. What I was saying is You, Me, DFace & BleedingEdge need money just to survive its just a fact of life, so anyone telling an artist who they should be selling their art to just seems a bit wrong.
