I was just wondering what it actually means and why did you opt for a woman holding a lead of a four legged creature as its so similar to the usage of Shat-at. Obviously it does not look the same in any way but why use the same sort of props. Is it a take on Shat-at or yourself or just pure aesthetics?

To be honest I wish I could say that I started out with the intention to create something riddled with meaning, but the truth is it just happened that way out of pure aesthetics.
BUT saying that, when I realised myself that it was another female/girl with a 4 legged 'thing' on a lead, I started to build meaning around it for myself.
So the way I see it, the deer is dead and in skeletal form, representing the past, what has been and gone (the end of star wars work). And the girl is now older and grown up, representing progression and the future of things to come.
The beauty of art is that everyone has their own take on things, their own thoughts, stories, meanings, and this is just mine.

This new print is a bit dark for me and I am not sure about the way the girls leg seems to go between the back leg and ribs of the deer, doesn't quite look right.
Love the detail around the feet though, can't wait to see what else is coming.

This will be followed closely by both Cheeky Cherub and Sinner being released as limited prints as well as some other brand new pieces. This will take us nicely up to the summer where I'll be having my first Solo show in London which will be wall to wall with brand new unseen original pieces, exclusive prints and some other little surprises. Venue and date tbc so keep 'em peeled.
