Faile have always re-used over-run paper that has been printed on, one of their faile prints that appeared in the Drewitts auction has one of the 'morons' layers in it. Its a nice bit of artistic recycling... I like it.

Hopefully the flippers will see the struggle some people are facing in selling their Vanities at cost. Personally I am suprised as its a cracking print. Im hoping the next print release will be similar sized run which clearly satisfies the market. Would be nice if everyone who wants will get.

However, once people see that the next release will be very small (like November, which saw 2 print run's of 3!) and how difficult it is to win in the lottery for originals, the price of these will rise again (i would imagine). A great time to buy because i would be surprised if we saw anything new from Faile until the show in October.

I agree about it being a good cost price from PM. I noticed Laz last week was selling a Confessions for 2k+.

Unfortunately they want to see my paypal receipt before releasing it so they must be suspicious of the real value. Basically as long as i pay the duty they'll pass it through. If i refuse to pay it it'll just get returned to sender.

It's not the marking as gift that stops you paying the import duty so much as the low declared value. Imports valued at over £18 are liable for import duty. Marking as gift raises that threshold to £36 (I think). Gifts valued at over £36 quid are still liable for import duty.
