no more neate prints?, by daz205 on Oct 9, 2007 20:27:40 GMT 1, i chatted to george ( i think thats his name) at elm during adams show and he said how the prints had only been made due to adams request so people could still have a piece of his art, we had a lengthy conversation about it, and it would`nt surprise me if it was true, kinda hope it is true in some ways because it could cause damage adams career quite easily

I don't think it will be permenant..it's been said for a reason right ?...Adam's an artist who likes to experiment with different media, so I can the reasoning behind not doing giclee prints pf existing work.. but i'm sure there'll come a time when he starts messing with screenprints, engravings, woodblocks etc etc...he just will.
I think this recent statement just means they don't really want to be aligned with this mad print collectors club that probably has a finite lifespan, but would rather develop his artistic profile away from this "trend" based Laz/Banksy scene.. a smart move IMO.

I wouldn't be suprised if he produced a run of orginal images as a collection much like the pizza boxes for graff world rather than a set of prints.
