i am rather partial to a frilly edge too. float mounted. beautiful.

that is a lovely framing job.. just got mine back this afternoon... same type of moulding, but float mounted.. chuffed to bits with it and will post photos tomorrow if the kids give me 5 minutes peace. Really loved this thread.. thanks to everyone whose posted, great to share ideas.

Cheers mate. My DOC's have returned there now and those 2 plus Eelus's Cheeky Cherub have gone onto my upstairs landing as the three of them have a similar background colour.
