Always ensure that duty has been paid as if the print ever gets damaged or stolen (i hope that never happens to anyone) your insurance company will ask for your proof of payment. For example your proof of payment is your ebay invoice (if bought via eBay). If the eBay member is registered in the United States then your insurance company would default on any payment of your claim if the duties or taxes liable upon importation have not been paid! This is what I have always been told and what I stick to.
im sure i've read that if the print originated in this country, no duty due. also, last vlh to sell was greekboys for £1533. best of luck getting £1700 but you may want to try ebay for that.

Earlier this year business was bad and my circumstances changed! I had brought the prints (which are on my walls) at a max of £100 each, now what do I do? No cash in the bank and my business needs cash flow or enjoy £XXX on my walls? It changed and I was lucky enough to keep all my art and keep my mortgage paid and my business is doing very well now (touch wood). Circumstances change, art is equity if you by right, no don't say I brought to make a profit I brought back in 03 because I loved B's art, with no idea how big he would be.
If he wants to sell his art then let him sell who are you to know what situation he's in?
If here's in it for the profit then so be it?

I am however not prepared to take down my eine elton to make way for this print. I do not want it in a portfolio for years to come as the eine will not be moving or neither will any of my other pictures and paintings. If i can sell it I will. I will also not complain if whoever buys it sells it on next week and makes some money also. I think that I am asking a sensible amount and lets be real here - nobody in the real world tries to sell things below the current market value do they? If they do then it is usually a con.

Make sure you declare the capital gain to the revenue if applicable as my brother works for them and I know they monitor this site.

I you're not US based you may want it unframed though. I love the framing but it must be quite heavy as it's very chunky! Give him a shout if unsure.
