Im going to post it here, as i dont want to start a new thread for it - just hope people see it but the question about eine releasing lots of prints is interesting.
His style is pretty much going to stay the same but he can change what the words say and how they are treated. I was looking at vhils tonight on pow and laz and just thought that boy is going to get boring very quickly if he just releases a new face in bleach everytime...

I know with some artists, the prints never quite live up to the originals somehow.

Defo, there's only so many white pieces of card with a splash of paint on and a bleached face of a random you can buy/ look at before it all starts getting a bit 'samey'?
I hope he does change it up though, i don't want to get bored of my Nothing Lasts Forever.

cool using bleach though, guess it was the only way he could get his style across in a print

Don't get me wrong i DO love the stuff Vhils is putting out at the minute. I just don't want him to get stuck in a rut and become known as 'that guy that paints faces with bleach'. He's clearly got quite a talent: i just hope he continues to evolve as an artist and challenge us.

I know we could bang on about Banksy til the cows come home, but everyone knows him and what he does. For Vhils to come from not being that well known to the talk of the festival shows the impact his work had on those that saw it.
