Banksy Bristol City Museum Show, by buffin on Jun 15, 2009 7:22:46 GMT 1, Not seen a mention but just wonder how John Nation is feeling. Prosecuted and vilified in the press for encouraging art and artists at Barton Hill to a show at the City museum with people flying in from all over to see it!
To quote Banksy, "it might sound a little crazy but I think John Nation, that shouty red-faced little social worker who made it all happen, has had more impact on the shape of British culture over the past 20 years than anyone else to come from the city"

Was glad to see the pet shop in there as i missed NY
Massive respect Banksy for putting on a show on the scale of it for free
Also went to the Weapons of choice gallery in the evening - Great show

I would have loved one of the little sketches from the studio installation. Apparently prices on the night ranged from bloody reasonable right up to silly money.
