Nola (with yellow rain) has been specially created by Banksy for the Cochlear Implant Support society, with the red dot and yellow rain symbolising deafness. The work will be auctioned on 23 April.

I agree. It serves no purpose in altering an existing artwork to somehow make it fit into the genre. This artwork was created in New Orleans specifically for the Hurricane Katrina victims and is already titled NOLA! What does that have to do with hearing impairment?

Im not for a second slagging off the idea to raise money for charity, it's a brilliant idea. But IMO visually, the red dot looks weird. If it raises money for charity then great, but this is an art discussion forum and people will talk about the actual art itself.
