The Leonard Street Gallery, by DYL4N on Jun 30, 2008 20:16:59 GMT 1, Oh dear does'nt sound good. Saying that I had a free print sent to me by them because of the LV disaster. Then a strange phonecall from them last week asking was I still waiting on anything and if so what. Sounded like they hadnt a clue what they were doing, anyways told them I was still waiting on the Gold replacement they said ok, what was the number!!!, and it arrived today!

JAMES CLARK is an absolute gentleman and is absolutely gutted this has happened! i am glad i managed to get my 2 DOZE GREEN canvases before the locks were on the door for good! the real shame is the money owed to the artists and charity!!!!!

I'm sure every single one of those artists will have no trouble going forwards, but I sincerely hope that they get what the gallery owed them. As for not coming good on a charity deal, that stinks!

But, went to some great shows there - had some fantastic nights where TLSG featured on the route.
What with this and the Dragon bar going earlier this year, almost feels like the end of an era.

Right on Dan, they def put on a great show, leonard street always had a good atmosphere and I'll miss it for one - all politics aside.
And the dragon bar was always the perfect after party

What saddens me more is that something so potentially good can fall apart in such an undignifed fashion. If there is any truth in the rumours I really hope that none of the artists are left out of pocket & any charity money is paid up.
