IN IT TO WIN IT! Signed Banksy Print!, by bored with screen names on Oct 9, 2009 16:59:36 GMT 1, No i don't work for the lottery but i do know that they are strictly regulated and no i will not be entering. As i said i was playing devils advocate because not everything you see on this forum as clear as it should be, who can forget Verbals and his charity scam. Everyone falling over themselves to donate art for charity for it to be not seen again for nearly a year. Good luck with your sale/lottery or whatever you want to call it. Curley, I understand your viewpoint, but I dont know how Burnz could make it any fairer, everyone can pick their own number, no one pays out till he gets 49 people, and the draw is on national tv.....job's a good un
I believe usually the price of the ticket x # of entries is supposed to equal the current value of what you're trying to win. Yes, the METHOD in which he's doing it seems fair, but it's the cost per ticket that doesnt seem equitable for the entrants.
The ticket should be about 25 GBP.

IN IT TO WIN IT! Signed Banksy Print!, by dotdot on Oct 9, 2009 17:15:23 GMT 1, I just cannot believe this thread, Does Curley work for the Lottery Commision?? Burnz, if you want to offer this to the forum, and God knows why you would, then I'm in, I have no problem at all with your lottery, and I'm sure others would agree with me, Be interesting to see how many of the people that gave you a hard time bought a ticket!! free bump
I'm out anyone who's in - think of the ... downside... and the 'proxy' - is the proxy legal and acting in a legal capacity - if the answer is no then by def - and yes you might not agree .. but it is.... not legal.

You have made a very interesting offer that I am up for (providing the price is still £45 or less). If its not already gone, I will go for number 6. Assuming you get them all sold, drop me a pm where to send the money. If I lose- I had a bit of excitement. If I win - bonus. Anyone who doesnt like the idea need not take part

IN IT TO WIN IT! Signed Banksy Print!, by daddychaps on Oct 12, 2009 9:07:31 GMT 1, Wouldnt you be better just taking your £40 and throwing it down on a single number in roulette at your local casino (like Mr Brown)?
Odds are 35-1 which would pay you £1400. That would certainly buy you a trolleys and better odds than 49-1 that Burnz is offering.
Not trying to get involved in the debate on whether this is wrong or right... just pure maths!

IN IT TO WIN IT! Signed Banksy Print!, by bored with screen names on Oct 12, 2009 19:54:49 GMT 1, Exactly. I dont think people are necessarily criticizing the method, but that price for those odds is simply not a good deal for the buyer and it's no surprise there have only been a few takers.
Of course it's a good deal for the person who wins it, but this is like me selling tickets to win £500. I'm selling 10 tickets at £100 a piece. JUST THINK, FOR ONLY £100 YOU CAN WIN £500. 1 in 10 chance! Anyone interested PM me.
