F/s Micallef - GIWTBB - Reduced to £250, by huggybear on Nov 17, 2009 13:12:41 GMT 1, It will probably come to that if I don't get any joy here, just thought that the good folks of this forum should have first dibs on it. Also, I'm trying to avoid Ebay these days. I sold a piece of camera equipment earlier this year to a buyer who turned out to be a real pain in the *rse. He opened a pay-pal dispute (after I'd already left him good feed-back) which caused me untold misery as Paypal then froze my account. Eventually, he withdrew his complaint but not until after he'd left negative feedback.
Paypal do not seem to have to operate under any normal banking laws. Freezing your money because some idiot changes his mind about the item he has purchased seems to go against all rules of natural justice.
Anyway, I know that there are a lot of them about, but £250 seems like a pretty fair price for what is a fabulous print. If I didn't have too much other stuff that needed framing, I'd sit on it for a while.
