There was one on eBay about 9 months ago and the guy wanted about £7k (not surprisingly it didn't sell). You won't get Pest Control for them as they were gifted (and never available for commercial release).
Jaygo, interested by your posts - was there ever a print of the springy horse or the heart? Are they your OGs?

The usual criteria is that the item is made as a work of art, not a commercial product (like a record sleeve).
Pest Control should change they're policy on these and issue Authentication.. IMO.

Very cool that these were all personalised and signed by Banksy. If you worked at the Festival, you were told there was something to collect as a gift of thanks, go to POW the day after the festival finished with ID, then you collected it. It was mainly done as a kindly gesture to those who were not paid for their services during the festival.
I think £10,000 ain't so bad for it, considering - even without a PC COA. Don't need another one though...

I have a feeling that it was causing a massive, second queue to buy them and distracting from the show.
I was there on the 2nd or 3rd day and saw a huge pile of them through an open door... and just asked a guy working if I could have one. He quickly rolled one up for me and handed it over !!

It's interesting to watch collectors move their own goalposts regarding back door prints/posters/anything else Banksy now that the values of official certified pieces have increased. Anything go's now there is a desperation to own a bit of brand Banksy. I almost fell foul to it yesterday when I nearly paid £2500 for an unsigned golf sale with a ding an a crease.
Bloody madness.

Joe, do these fall in the same category as pieces not intended for commercial sale? I always thought that approach was for stuff like street pieces rather than gifts which recipients may ultimately choose to sell?
