Nick Walker cant be too Careful ed.15, by Matt-lock on Feb 15, 2008 1:29:54 GMT 1, hey Rkitek, no you are right ,on the page it was the one underneath ,looked at the wrong price, bugger, it's even worse now, was $5,000. sure you can work it out now ,lol, which piece did you buy? The one at $5k sold at the preview so you had to be there to get it. Those have been on sale there forever! Too true, been around for ever at ~$1,500 and no interest, now suddenly big interest I wonder why........... Although TMA's especially London had been going up in price, other prints were stationary, e.g. you could pick up a Apish Angel at less than cost easily, now over ยฃ300.
But I don't think there's any comparison with the TMA's versus the apish angels, baby molls, nickers, or mona's. The TMA series are in a class of their own when it comes to his work.

Nick Walker cant be too Careful ed.15, by gtf on Feb 15, 2008 1:39:18 GMT 1, They actually had three available but I think you're right that they all sold the evening of the preview.
The price list issued after the preview showed only one Ratatouille (lets make sure we are talking about the same thing available (and sold) but I wasn't there so stand corrected.

Nick Walker cant be too Careful ed.15, by rkitek on Feb 15, 2008 1:44:49 GMT 1, That's the right piece. The price list I got showed that there were 3 out of the edition of 10 that were available and that had sold.

London TMA is a stunning and is my favourite even above my Banksy's which is will probably get me thrown out of the forum IMO Bristol is not quite up there but still very good.
Everything by Nick has gone up dramatically in value as a result of Bonham's, it seems to be totally indiscriminate. There seems to be loads of people buying now who would not have bought just one month ago. It is not as if he is a newcomer and his work is unknown.

Yes ,it says on my list there were ten, three sold so I wonder what will happen to the other seven, apart from being a lot more expensive.

I don't like the baby molls, nickers, and the monas , the astral work is nice, but the one I bought was the TMA style because I think those are in a different league. I just missed the last Under Siege which was annoying.
Was the Vandal Triptych from the edition that had been on his site or was that a new edition?
