Yup It's been a long day. I did a presentation at work today...only I forgot to copy it to the memory stick. Whoopsie. Had to go back to the office and copy it and kept everyone waiting 20 minutes.

I'm curious about this rice talk, how much do you need to buy? what are the returns like?

Sounds like a winner people go without rice (good thing with current obesity levels), then when they are so hungry they will pay more for rice you sell?

Not only do you feed people, but you make a profit as well

lol, just one of those days..! we all have had them...hope your presentation went well too! NW got few pieces at bonhams more than what i was expecting to be honest...everyone is looking for that penny stock...if people start thinking urban art market good to invest in then prices will go up... if prices fall further i will be happy... be able to get things i missed out on the first time around... s&s is one of my fav but maybe in few weeks will look and see what happens.... good news for us though...if we can get bargains then that is fantastic news for the collectors...s

I don't see why Hollywood is getting a bashing? Each to their own but personally I completely love it and that's why its on my wall. True London is the nuts but if you look at Hollywood up close, you can't tell me that's not great.

Picked up my S&S for £1600 when prices were dropping. F**king glad i did as would have no chance now. I'm sure it's just flipper overload.

Ripe tma would be great, its a small village - you could add lots of old ladies looking with disgust at there small village dripping with paint.

I don't think the Bonhams sale being a flop is as much of a dream as people are thinking - it's a distinct possibility. I certainly think the days of all signed Banksies selling for silly money at auction houses are gone. Things seem to be slowing down generally in all business sectors and there's still no concrete evidence that this market will be a haven for investors. They are not going to be looking for £500 - £5000 print deals to tie up substantial sums of money, they'll be looking to the higher end of the market if anywhere, so I think it's very much a question of wait and see. Most print owners/collectors will be hit in some way or another. If too many collectors feel their prints are a luxury then the bottom could easily drop out of this market soon, with not too much depth there to prop it up short term imo. I'm not suggesting people should care one way or the other though. It all depends on you means and your motives. Genuine collectors should see the market crashing as an opportunity, so it might not be such a bad thing, as Snakes implied.
