I would love somebody to explain exactly what it is about them that people like, apart from being done by Micallef.

Seems to sum up the situation with the wall and the details on it (including the graff on the wall) are first rate. Too much to hope that this might make a print. Think I read somewhere that the trip to SG had inspired him and it definetly shows.

GIWTBB IMO is still a stronger piece than any of these.

I can understand why Micallef has such a high price tag, sell out LA show etc but I think there needs to be a price adjustment as it is way over priced at the moment. But who am I to comment on Laz, he is after all the King of pop.

Definitely think it's not his best work, and would agree with Richard above... i'd rather have the Ian Francis original at the graffle than any of these!

I really enjoy Micallef's work and think, overall, he is one of the finest artists out there. Not everything hits, and the miss rate has been relatively high(for him) lately. That being said, of the post-LA Micallefs, Dreamer is by far my favorite.

I think if this had been done by an unknown artist with that price it would be slagged to hell, I'm sure a professional art critic could see and possibly describe the artistic merit in it but I'm damned if I can see any, think I will keep my money in my piggy!!!
