At the moment the lottery seems the fairest way to release the prints IMO. The problems with Nola resulted in more prints being released to the masses than intended. At least this way POW can be pretty sure who has been allocated a print and who has not.
It's great news that POW are continuing to release Banksy prints. The winners will get a cheap Banksy from source and POW are giving a portion of proceeds to good causes.
Best of luck to everyone in the lottery.

And then low and behold 'Grey' Nola's for sale everywhere! Nice gesture from the Artist though. Nola became a real help to a great number of charities, both indirectly through the chance to win a 1/1 and through other editions such as the 32 and Inkie hand finished edition. These donut prints could go for 1500 and by rights POW could go for that being a limited company with an objective to maximise profit margins for its shareholders as dividends, but yet again Banksy keeps it real for people in the current economic climate, while other artists still think its 2007 and then some. At the moment, the way this country is now and the many that are affected by it, Banksy comes along and puts on a FREE show, a poster release for those without ยฃ500 and a print for those who collect his work. Bah. Im on their side. The lottery may be a b**ch, but people who have just become interested in the artist through the show have every right to enjoy a print and have an opportunity to purachse as those that purchased a canvas at Evershed. innit

I think it's good that we get a chance, even as slim as it is, it's still a chance. I don't think that's the best of prints but I do like it enough to hang it on my wall if first of all I get lucky. Definitely glad I didn't read anything in Metro or other newspaper about it...pfiou! It would be nice if it was directed more towards people on the POW mailing list as with word spreading fast, a lot of winners will head off straight to ebay.
Regarding the message...well...not sure about how deep we should look into it but interesting that regardless...it makes people talk! (a hell of a lot!)
