i'd guess the massive majority of banksy fans, and those who buy off ebay are not on the forum. don't think we'd really make a difference.
the biggest issue in driving prices down will be if there are a load of them hitting the market right away.
i'd have loved most of the prints banksy's released on my walls but i did like this one especially. i thought the bristol show was amazing and this piece has something extra because of this, hopefully they'll be a couple more bristol show releases* as prints.
* i know people will say i could frame one of the show posters but i really don't think any of the 4 are great for framing - nice momentos, fine for pinning to a wall but they're not properly composed pieces. i've not seen the parliament poster and i loved the finished piece so i'll withhold judgement on that...

yeh but the flip-side is that banksys "collectors" will then say banksy has sold out and they are too overpriced. POW cant win.

if you're still a collector after him entering the gallery system then i'm pretty confident no-one will stop collecting just because his print prices have increased @ source to the current market value, even if they do have a little moan. there's not many artists who release work that much below market value, why should banksy/pow be any different?

The pieces from the show which are sketchy (but well finished) imo are the ones which could be prints. The crying terrorist is a great example of that, the punk is pretty well set up as well...
