Faile release plus POW event have doubtless proved a potentially pocket emptying distraction for a few, plus the price point is still causing consternation in some quarters.
In summary, this seems to be one for the collectors and the framing costs look expensive. I tend to get my stuff done by a local framer in Gidea Park and he's always done me a deal and always done a decent job.
I think he charged less than £200 for framing Neate's Triptych (behind UV).....(I'm not on commission(yet)).

I was thinking the exact same thing volvic! Whatever happened to classic framing (choosing black or white frames, with neutral mat)? Maybe I'm just a purist.

I'm starting out early (ish) and hoping to get there around 11ish, I really don't want to be queuing for hours in the rain, however so f'ing exciting to these in the flesh :-) !! Just need to control myself and not blow all my monies on all three!! Anyway I hope everyone who goes enjoys, I'll have a wander over to POW after....

I really want a Parla, but I am thinking that these may not show the depth of his work very well in print form. I passed. Hope I am not kicking myself for it.

Doesn't UV acrylic get yellow and possibly crackly overtime? I wonder what the weight will be framing the World Touring Letter using the museum glass. By the way, enjoy the show for those of you who can make it down.

They were selling sets and these were numbered in the 40's so assume that theyd sold a decent % to private collectors and overseas. If you're overseas and didn't make the initial cut then I'd advise giving them a ring and seeing how things stand now as you might get a result.
Stunning in the flesh, I thought the St Giles shone a little better when I saw it so went for that.
Craigf, didn't know you were there, or would have come and said hello....

Styrene gets yellow over time, acrylic doesn't. The main disadvantage to acrylic is that it can scratch fairly easy and you can't clean it with the same stuff you can clean glass with. It is however much stronger and lighter than glass.

Over the moon with these and I've even decided how to frame them (similar to Elms).

The one i got was number 61 and that was at about 1pm so think that print will sell out faster than the other ones.
