The superman print is also one for the collection (from the bay of course) but as a D* fan, the promise of my world rocking on 2nd of Oct has barely even budged to be honest tho I'll keep an open mind till I go down tomorrow. Was gonna drag myself down tonite with a bout of food poisoning but glad I didnt. Couldnt deal with the hype of a £500 print I couldnt afford, I pref the liberty I got today anyway!
Its deffo a new angle for D*Face but not the 'Blown away' promises I hung on to all year. A little dissapointed! Seen it all before from other artists.

Pictures from the show can’t do the justice as each piece seen in person, especially “THE END” canvas looks very impressive and is by far the best one for me. I just got a feeling that the way all has been put together is just a really only PART 1… you get a felling that it has to be something else to come… and if there is a PART 2… well, I would like to see it … it would look completed…

Amazing show, amazing attention to detail. I hear a year in the making and the whole 'theatre' was fantastic. He and his team should be proud. I think the walk through bit comes down sun/mon so if you can get yourself up there do so.

The vultures that ran through grabbing everything that was not nailed down at the start. Plus points too many to mention - loved the whole d*face vs superheros theme that ran through the majority of the work.

DFace aPOPcalypse Now Show, by Prescription Art on Oct 3, 2008 2:00:34 GMT 1, I've been pretty disappointed with D*Face recently, but the show was great.... especially (or almost entirely) the installation rooms at the start. Loved the Haring room, the jumbled up advert boards & the church.
A lot of the superhero stuff I can take or leave, but I enjoyed the ones that told a story..spiderman infected with a compulsion to paint D*Dogs, and the unmasking of the evil D*Face. The others didn't do much for me subject wise, but were really well executed.
I saw the amazing Dead Kids again later at Catch. They're the best live band i've seen for many years... go & check 'em out whenever you can... the lead singer is absolutely mental, and I don't say that lightly!
