From what I've seen of them I'd rank Best above Pele - I think Pele is lucky to get in the top 3, Cruyff could have easily beaten him...

For my money it would be between Pele (for his goals, achievements and how ahead of his time he was) and Maradonna (for his skill and ability to influence the results of his team), but I can't really decide between them. If it wasn't for his injuries, I reckon Ronaldo might have had a shot to be up there with them.

The fact he was never tested outside the Brazilian League means that to me he cannot stand up against Maradona who like PA said took a team the equivalent of Southampton (if that) in the Italian League to two League Championships.
