The Best Film Ever, by pelle on Feb 7, 2013 10:40:59 GMT 1, Jagden Jagten (The Hunt) - Stunning Danish movie about the consequences of false accusations of child abuse and a community in freefall. Fabulous performance by Mads Mikkelsen - rightly awarded by a best actor gong at Cannes last year and criminally overlooked by the Oscars. My pick (along with Les Mis) of the movies I've seen so far this year.

Watched Danny Boyle's Trance. Tried hard but too clever for it's own good and disappears up its own arse. More clues throughout and a less perfunctory summation would have been better. Still, DB is a national treasure and rarely makes a movie that's not worth seeing. This is no exception.
