'Pride' 10/10 A great British film which is a true story. About the miners strike and Gay community helping each other. I rented this movie and what a pleasant surprise. I don't remember the synopsis at Redbox mentioning the Gay thing so I thought it was just about two towns teaming together for the coalminer's strike. My bad, because the name of the movie is "Pride" I just didn't make the connection. I watched the whole movie and thought it was fabulous, funny, and I got some insight to some British history. Recommend this. Also watched a pretty cool and scary one last night called "As above, So below" filmed in the catacombs under Paris which was a really cool filming location, good story too. I recommend this one as well. |
