If you go through the hassle of speaking to your bank they can instantly (24 hours is instant apparently) free up all the "extra" ones and leave just the one, which will disappear as and when tesco don't take the cash - in as many as working 10 days.

<hand up> Something for next to sod all - it's the basis of my whole daily working existence.
It's OK - I went shopping in Tesco's tonight and shoplifted a 6.5m roll of Bacofoil, a small bottle of capers and a box of meringues....I shall be savoring these extraordinary delights later.....muhahahahaha

HIT TESCO WHERE IT HURTS - XBOX FOR £34, by koolchris99 on Nov 10, 2007 16:22:03 GMT 1, i second the pesto notion, in the top 5, up there with sun dried toms, worst has to be beetroot, and cabbage, they are just plain wrong.

They were bloody nice - had to smear a bit of Pesto on the side - If anyone from Tesco's is reading this, I had em with some fava beans and a nice Chianti....fsk fsk fsk fsk fsk
I'd just like to add - Pesto is lovely - as long as you make your own - the stuff in jars is disgusting - my fellow Essex comrade, old Fat Tongued C*nt himself, Jamie Oliver has a lovely recipe for Pesto.
off the top of my head...
25g Basil (big'ish Bunch - leaves not stalks) 100g freshly grated Parmesan Clove of Garlic 50g toasted Pinenuts Extra Virgin olive oil Squeeze of Lemon juice
Blitz that lot up and bobs your uncle ;D

HIT TESCO WHERE IT HURTS - XBOX FOR £34, by neutral on Nov 11, 2007 12:35:02 GMT 1, If people have been debited on the spot for their orders, as I, their terms and condition might have a fault as they do mention they will only take the funds when the order has been agreed on the date of dispatch. My bank is confirming the money went out as clearly stated on my statement. Thoughts?

HIT TESCO WHERE IT HURTS - XBOX FOR £34, by redfred on Nov 12, 2007 11:12:27 GMT 1, I would exercise a bit of caution, I have had it happen on a number of occasions with suppliers ( not dealt with Tesco ) where they take the money from the account and replace it until the item is delivered, this can sometimes happen to your advantage as I once got a 42" Plasma for free because they forgot to retake it out of my account! I think they must do this to make sure the account is active but final payment is taken when the delivery note goes through. The Plasma by the way was back in the days when they were over £2000.
